What's brighte, the tir6 or con 3? Which punches through tint better? Guessing tir6 but I haven't gotten my hands on any con 3 modules.

The CON3 is my favorite Whelen lighthead, and they are VERY bright. HUGE reflector.

Given that both products are Whelen, wouldn't the tir6 actually be brighter with and without the diffuser? The tir6 costs more, and one would expect it's brighter.

But the TIR6 doesn't have a big reflector; the con3's reflectors make it look like the whole Lighthead is flashing, while the TIR6 (although it is bright) looks like 6 smaller dots flashing

The CON3 heads are super bright but very directional with almost no off axis output. A perfect application for them would be amber flashers in the rear of a Liberty.

CON3s have ZERO off axis. TIR6s aren't much better.
