Nice find! A good friend of mine latched on to a VisiBar w/PA25 speaker recently for just under $100 and then traded it to me for an older electronic siren he'd been wanting. Worked out for both of us. Oddly enough, it came with amber domes, but I found red ones for it. Very nice old bar.

Doesn't everyone still like to watch Emergency!? My wife and kids get annoyed everytime my cell phone rings - my ringer tone is the station 51 tones from the show...there's never any doubt when my cell rings whose it is!

Now that's a ring tone I'd love to have. I heard one a few years ago that was a Q winding up. Don't know where it came from, but I wouldn't mind finding it. And you're right.....everyone HAS to love to watch Emergency! Bad thing is, now I have to totally rearrange my afternoon schedule!

my ringer tone is the station 51 tones from the show...there's never any doubt when my cell rings whose it is!

I was responsible for one of the earliest postings of those station tones online. I was able to buy a VHS tape of a couple of episodes back when Jim Page (may he rest in peace) offered them along with a small publication that discussed the history of the show, made available through JEMS magazine.


I used a Farallon MacRecorder audio digitizer to pull the tones off of the VCR audio output and on to my Mac SE/30. Later, I uploaded the file to AOL. (This was before the days of the Internet.) I suspect that sample is still floating around the net to this day.
