Unitrol 80K wiring

Hi all,

Not sure if this falls under vintage equipment or not, but I'm running into some issues whilst trying to wire up my Unitrol 80k amplifier. I do not have a factory controller but from what I could gather, all you needed were momentary switches, a power source (obviously) and an on/off button. I'm going for Option 2 (siren tones WAIL/YELP in the installation manual) but I don't know what wire goes where, even though the numbers of each are on the back of the amp. I've tried all sorts of wiring combinations and connections but I'm still getting nothing. It does power on. Currently have POS, NEG, and AIR HORN wired up - I've stripped the WAIL and YELP cables, should these be connected to "Audio Input"?

I feel like I'm making this way more complicated than it should be...

You are definitely making it harder than it needs to be, don't touch that 'Audio Input' for the siren tones! On the Unitrol 80K, the numbered pins on the back are looking for a +12V trigger, but there is a specific 'common' pin that acts as the gatekeeper.
