Hello all,

I was doing some cleaning out and ran across these fixtures and bulbs. I removed these some time ago from an old twinsonic that was rotating extremely slow. Somewhere in its life someone added them as they obviously don't belong in a twinsonic.
They look like they may have come out out of a Dietz 7-05?????

Any help in identifying them would be great!!!

Oh and they do still work.

Those were some old driving lights that you could order from an outfit like J.C. Whitney, back in the day... Those bulbs were similar to the 3617's but were not long enough (shaft length) to replace those. Your housings are missing the front trim rings that covered the front but inside a bar, I guess that wouldn't matter much. These "driving lights" were available in almost any color and really didn't produce much of a beam, more of a flood pattern when lit. You can see the backside of the one I have here was, at one point, yellow. I must have taken some stripper to the front to make it clear, for some reason. The first picture is how they came, new. These were the chinese "knock-offs" of their day.
