how did you install the Lin-4 under the tailgate man? Was it hard, I have the same model truck and always thought it was impossible to get some under the tailgate.

it took about an hour and a half to install them there you just got to remove the tail gate and make sure you measure correctly if not your going to have issues opening your tail gate. And make sure you have a good drill and extra drill bits that steel is a bitch to drill on. And if any of you are wondering i do have double tint on the entire truck and one layer of tint on the front windshield so the LEDS appear weak on the video. I did not install this tint i came that way from the used dealer ship were i bought the truck.

Both links go to the same rear video. I dont see the day time one.

Also, I thought making the rear light above the window do anything other then intended was illegal.

Otherwise, nice set up!

I believe in the second link there's the day time video on the right hand side of your screen.

Looks, to me, like the clear cargo lights are the only lights changed.

Dan

Yeah sorry it goes to.the same link but the day time video is to the right hand side next to the other video. And the cargo lamps were the only lights altered not the third break light.

I did the same thing with TIR3's. Remove the tailgate and install. Pretty simple.

You might want to remove the tint from your windshield, highly illegal in TX....and yes, even in the valley, but you should know that since your sig says Texas Peace Officer.

Just because you bought it that way from the dealership does not make it ok, as a Peace Officer, you (we) are held to a higher standard and are also to obey the laws we enforce.

What PD do u work for that requires you to respond to emergencies in your POV? PM me if you dont feel comfortable saying what agency.

I work for Santa Rosa Police Department in Cameron County Texas and i have only responded code twice once for a drive by shooting that was in progress and the second time for an officer needed assistance call. Both times i am required to notify County Dispatch and advise them of my vehicle type license plate number discription and so on and so forth. And if County dispatch does not approve i cannot respond code on the POV. But of course it has its draw backs the city does not pay for my gas and they will not cover you if you get in a wreck so its on you if you screw up.

I added response video to grass fire on first post

Nice ride though

Did ya forget to put your seat belt on? lol

the dark tint is for "investigative purposes" right Station 3...

i got stopped by DPS on the way to Falfurias last week. he just freaked when he asked if i had any weapons and i just smiled and said "yes" he asked what did i have, where it was and why did i have it and i just smiled and said " its on the door panel, the law says i can, and i am a peace officer... oh and its only a 9mm just in case shit..." lol that was funny the trooper got of his unit in a bad mood and before the stop was concluded we shook hands and laughed.

You should try using Hyper yelp when entering the intersections it really helps. I would also think about putting in some strobes in the front corners for better intersection lighting. A sunny day in Texas, and your vertex's won't do a thing.

Also next time you video, try wearing a seat belt Arrive alive! :)

Maybe a Q and some Good Grover Air horns would help with the intersections o and maybe a power call siren. all thoe they my not have them types of sirens yet down south lol. But very good videos and set up really sharp.
