hey there, I am having a bit of an issue with a code 3 v-con (air horn only model) . When I installed it all I get it a click when air-horn tones are activated when I unhook the speaker I get the tone from the inside amp but nothing in other than the click when the speaker is hooked back up. I tried another unit and it works fine so It seems the speaker is not the problem. Any ideas?????????

This particular unit has been modified to air horn only the selector switch was trimmed and capped to prevent the use of siren tones

If the unit is a modified full function set to air horn only. sounds like the click you are hearing is the dial set to radio. Try uncaping the dial and turning one click right to standby.

Then it shouldn't be making an airhorn sound internally with the speaker disconnected.
