The rect14 are going to blow away the vertex for light output. The only thought I would have for picking the Vertex is if you need stealth. If you don't mind the bracket and lights, which are very visible...definitely go for that for better/brighter rear warning.

Rect 14's are probably the brightest tir style light, besides maybe an Impaxx. but definatle go with the Rect14's.

i thought so too, but wasnt sure. Im not THAT particular about stealth or not. Whatever i have so far is behind tint and not so visible when its off. The only external lights so far are 2 rect 13's on a 10-75. It looks like im going to be going with the rect14's on the rear lp bracket.

Can anyone recommend a good one that works specifically for the rect14's?

I am going to be the odd ball and say the vertex, for the simple reason of throwing some light to the side in case someone is coming from an angle. Though I do thing Rect14's are way brighter...

I would go with the RECT14s if you dont mind the lights being seen when they are off. I have a pair of RECT13s on an LP bracket and they are BRIGHT! Look at my pov in the install page I have a video of them. 2005 Dodge Magnum POV.

Vertex will give you width! ...which is really important if you will be using your car in any stationary traffic-scenario, like at an accident. But they don´t give you the output to sufficiently grab the attention of oncoming traffic (from the rear) during bright daylight.

The rect14s will give you the output needed, but not the width if placed as suggested.

I could suggest putting better HAWs in, but maybe you´ve got these two products already. In that case: put the rect14s as suggested and mount the vertexes under your sideview mirrors to give you wide 360 degree coverage.
