Phantom VHF antennas leave a bit to be desired, and have terribly narrow bandwith.

NMO mount for $15 or so, and a 1/4 wave whip for another few dollars, and you are done. Unless you need something with more gain.
This is my go to for VHF.

Beautiful southern Georgia!
I'm a big fan of 1/4 wave antennas and that is all I run on my vehicle.  If you are in an area with good repeater coverage, than they are perfect.  Not too tall (approx 18") and they are cheap.  Even a good one, like the Tram with the gold plated, spring loaded center tip, is around $40 with a brand new coax cable kit.  Just my $0.02

Fleabay has hundreds. I just picked up a tram uhf 5/8 whip with the spring loaded center for $30. My lowband with spring loaded center was only $27

+1 on quarter wave. Phantoms are pretty slick for UHF and 800 but very, very narrow for VHF. Unless you operate on a single frequency, stay away from them. The StiCo flexible whip is nice.
