Vintage Federal Sign and Signal 1940's lights

Hello fellow collectors!


I just finished restoring a couple vintage Federal model "FS2" lights i recently acquired. i would date these around the early 1940's. i polished the rings and powder coated the housings. these were definitely a unique find for my collection.

If they were from the 40's the tags would be Federal Electric.


Federal Sign and signal was from the 50's thru into the 70's approx.


Still look super nice.

I believe these were actually made by Julian McDermott Corp. I have the same set with a McDermott tag on it and the chrome ring and red lense match my Par 46 McDeromtt can lights exactly.
