Ok, the more I think about it, I feel bad for posting this in the ring as it's going to support a fellow FD's honor guard. But it's there. If I was around that weekend, I might actually go... might get some ideas!

This is a great idea to raise funds among departments. I think I'm going to ask if we can put on a show next year to help the ladies auxiliary.

The pickup truck illustrated shouldn't be considered a wacker, it was at least from this century and the lighting actually looked fine. A show of legit POV's from around the area could actually be a great fundraising idea.


A TRUE wacker car show would have those 1977 Chevy Vegas with fullsize amber Liberties, rusted out Ford Rangers with Q sirens, recycled CVPI's with enough white/amber lights to serve as a runway for international flights and "Patrol Enforcement Response Protect & Serve Dial 911" graphics packages. Of those, YouTube history is made.

I would bring the expy but I'm working. Just curious, do you have anything worked out with the local pd for the guys from out of state that only have blue lights?
