Apparently it's much more fun to buy all the colors in the catalog. Left out green, though. Truck went into service this week.

I've never been a fan of FDNY lighting specs, especially the excessive use of TIR6, instead of 600s or other lightheads appropriate for apparatus.

Although I'm happy that they're using more M-series these days, Field Comm's side lighting is more than a typical engine or ladder co rig. Im guessing that the front lighting is still prob the same disappointing setup (just 2 600s in the grill), but at least they have a horizontally-mounted M-series for added intersection vis (instead of solely relying on a pair of vertically-mounted TIR6...what a waste!). Having 3 M9's stacked on top of each other is a waste and would've looked so much better if they were spaced out evenly across the rear.

I'm surprised the bid for a support unit went to seagrave b/c I think they're so damn overpriced
