What structural FF gloves do you use?

Looking at getting some gloves for myself and a few of my guys. Hate the heavy gloves that get stiff as a board after use or slick as snot when wet.


What do you use/recommend? Glove Crafters Fire Armor model gloves sound interesting.

American Firewear Super Glove. Kangaroo leather. Stays soft and are not too heavy. Have had mine through many fires in several years and they are as pliable as the day I got them.

I personally use the pro-tec fusion 8's and love them; they're very comfortable and some of the most flexible/conforming gloves I have ever used.


I would stay away from dragon fire gloves because I have seen them fall apart in <2 months of minor use on multiple occasions. I have used dept-issued Shelby gloves before and I didn't love them.

I did see that thread, thanks. Just wanted up to date info since newer gloves have come out on the market.
