What to use for a console

I am looking for advice in what to use for a equipment console.


I have a 2007 Chevy silverado.


The equipment that I need to install is as follows:


1 kenwood tk 790 remote head


2 whelen 295slsa1


3 feniex Olympian switch panel


4 possibly a bearcat scanner

You could make one out of wood and custom fit it to go over the cup holders. That would allow you to maximize the top surface area of the console.

Based on your pics I am going to say that wont work. It looks like you have the 2007 classic body as opposed to the new body which is what that is for. I think you will need to go with something like this

I installed a angle mount in my FD's 2005 GMC pickup. I believe it was the 11 inch model. Works great, but you will need a bigger console for all the equipment you want to mount.


Go to Car Office, In Vehicle Computer Mount, PC Laptop, Police Radio Mount | Havis Inc. and follow the links to see what brackets you will need so you ca figure out just how big a console you will need.
