Whelen 2010 Liberty Modules.

Does anyone know if the Whelen Liberty 2010 colour changing modules can be bought separately yet and if they would fit in a normal liberty?

According to Hugh A on Facebook, he'd acquired a Responder LP with the dual color modules. It was a special order thing. I asked how the modules are setup, like 2 wiring pigtails like on the 400 6-over-6, but he wasn't sure. he also wasn't sure on price.

you can buy them separately and there expensive also you can only use them in SY or SZ version Liberty's per Whelen,unless you want to fry something up or void your warranty :lol:

Hugh said there were just 2 "flashers" in the Responder. Assuming 2 Responder flashers, one for each color.

The new Duo lightheads have 2 wires per color per head (total of 4, each) so the question really isnt can you buy them serparately but can you buy the I/O board you need to go with the lightheads? No need to worry about burning up your old board because you wont be able to connect the new Duo lightheads to your old board anyway.

All i really wanted was two lightheads. Don't require an I/o board as my liberty doesn't have one inside. All the leds run off a ulf44.
