Starting to take apart and test my Whelen Edge 9004-ak for functionality and replacing bulbs as I can, The wiring isn't pretty but... Light Bar Test

Not bad for your first attempt!

You stripped your purple wire a little bit too far. When crimping the open barrel Deutsch terminals, the second crimp should land on the insulation, not on the conductor. Like this:

Thank you so much! I noticed that and have since fixed it due to the connectors I had ordered not being of.. high quality. I am also a bit of a stickler for not liking wire splices and electrical tape so I would rather do it right once rather than break anything LOL

I look forward to seeing what I can learn from the gurus here
