Actually they went both ways on those powered or remote, and syncable, with the right unit!

The DashMaster was not available in a remote version.
The DashMiser was available in a remote version.

Is that the newer series dashmisers with the 500 series or the older ones with the 52 series??

The DashMiser was available in a remote version.
And I must've bumped into one that was modified then, cause all it had was 2 cables coming out for a power supply.

How did the interconnect cable that synced the two dual DashMasters to make a DeckMaster work? Was this a remote (trigger only, perhaps) input from one power supply to one of the strobe tubes in the other unit, and vice versa?

DeckMaster had 2 power supplies, were specifically wired to accept a connecting power/synchronizing cable in the second port on the back of the lights.
2standard DashMaster IIs were not wired for this application.
