need help have an edge 9000 ultra manufactured in '01 has 12 strobes and traffic arrow but only 6 wires on the harness and does not power up if anyone can help please do thanks terry

So you have six wires, with the colors red, black, black, white, blue and grey?
Then its a serial controlled Edge Ultra and you need a serial control head (MPC01) to make it work.
Then its a serial controlled Edge Ultra and you need a serial control head (MPC01) to make it work.
9M Ultra = Serial Controlled.
Edge 9000 Ultra = Doesn't exist.
Pictures always help. So will a description of the wires coming out of the bar. Chances are if there are that few wires, it is serial controlled.
The wires, are they:
Big Red Wire
Big Black Wire
Big Unshielded Wire
Small Blue Wire
Small Gray Wire
Small Unshielded Wire :?:
