You can tell them by a wider (deeper) profile and a black "hatch" in the top. People often gut them and add regular edge power supplies etc. The end caps are three pieces, a front color, alley center and rear color. The other lenses were regular edge lenses.
The ultra version used the same wide stance, but there was not a black hatch on the top. The ultra series had a fused end cap and used 9m lenses and 400 series internals.
