Pictures of my Whelen Freez-Alarm.

If I remember correctly, these were for neither aviation or automotive warning. These were for placing in your greenhouse, or other temperature sensitive area, and setting the "thermostat" for a certain temperature. If that temp was reached, the beacon would active to get your (or your neighbor's) attention. 

I believe this was an ebay find. The seller shipped it to me in it's original box!

Check my ROTA BEAM Family History Thread for pics of the other 2 models. One looks the same as this, but has a second, smaller pilot bulb, and the other is made from the Responder design.
