I have an old Inner-Edge rear upper deck bar for a 2005 era crown vic that I am looking in to retrofitting with the guts of a modern RST to get full benefits of the newest features.
I'm wondering if anyone here has either an FST or RST or both and would be willing to get me dimensions of LED modules they use along with the size of the control board.
In theory I should have no problem putting the new modules in the old housing but the control board is probably where I'll have issues with fitting it. With that I do have plans to design and make my own custom aluminum housing that will match the old one but allow me to easily fit the new parts.
After testing I know the Inner-Edge I have fits the rear of my 06 vic but does not work in the front even though it should but with a custom made housing it should work since finding the front housing for a Vic is very difficult to do these days along with being way too expensive.
