Hey all i hope i am in the right area for this. I have a Whelen Liberty lightbar, and a Whelen MPC01 controller with a BL627 Whelen siren amp to control it. i cant figure this thing out to save my life. i have never seen a liberty set up this way either. It has 2 cables coming out of it, The main power cable of course then has a smaller cable with 3 wires coming out of it 2 small coated wires and a uncoated shield wire im guessing its called. these 2 small wires are blue and grey. Most libertys i've delt with before had a bigger trigger wire cable. theres no where to hook these wires up at that i can see. if anyone has any idea how this is suppose to work or a diagram please let me know.

you have what is referred to as a B-LINK bar. it is serial controlled from the control unit to cut down on the size of wire that needed to be ran into the cab.

here is a lengthy discussion of he system on this forum

alternatively you can access the whelen PDF install sheet which should get you going.

with the MPC01 it looks like you will need the J7 connector. Pin1, 2, and 5
