Is the Q sound on the 12m the same that is on the 295's with changable tones?

Yup! They may have made a few small tweaks, but it's still pretty much the same dying-cow tone...

Dying cow, I'll have to use that description from now on. I've been saying it sounds like an old Air Raid Siren.

They sound different to me. The mech on the 12m is from the Xecutor. Look them up on youtube yourself to tell the difference

Nope. 12Q, maybe, but 12M? I think you're pretty much right, you just got the 12M and 12Q confused...
