Whelen TAD8 Dominator modification, help needed

Hi everyone


I have a Whelen tad8 dominator it’s the 6 led traffic advisor with red end flashers.


My question here is, can I make this an 8 lamp traffic advisor so instead of 6 it would be be 8. Was looking for some input before I open up the TAD and try myself.

You'd need a different circuit board inside. Or, re-wire it as a 'dumb' arrow requiring an external controller and not just switches as you use now.
