Wiring up a Legend bar.

Hi there, I hope you are all well.

I'm a mower mechanic, and one of my customers bought me a light bar to make work.

Its a Federal Signal Corporation LEGEND, Series A, 12v.

I have just the bare bar. I have no idea if it works, but from some reading here I need a control box (the bar has red wire, black wire, and a grey wire with an RJ45 on the end).

Is there any after market option, or a way to jump it to just flash (as thats all the customer wants).

Thank you for any info.

Any idea which serial box? As they seem to price from $60 ebay special, to $800+.

Did find out the bar powers up, so it at least works.

Okay!

Got the light and the control box. Problem now is i do not have a loom or the button box.

I assume i can desolder the plug and add my own cables.

Going with pin 1 is ground? Based on this post;

For the switches, do i want momentary switches or latching ones?
