Xts2500 D button

Looking at getting a D button replacement for my belt clip on my radio but can't find anything for a xts2500.

So my question is will this work even though it says it's for the XT 5000:

I don't think so.

As I understand the clip mount is wider on the 3/5000 series (I measured my battery clip mount. Its about 3/4in between groves)

I only have XTS5000 radios, so I can't determine for sure

Ok. Thanks. I measured the battery on mine and it looks like it is 3/4 in as well for the belt clip grooves. I'll find out for sure tomorrow though. A buddy of mine who is also the county radio guy has one he doesn't use for his 5000 so he said he'd let me have it. Once I find out I will post here.

Just an update. The D button replacement for the XTS5000 and XTS 3000 will work for the xts2500.
