I've had for the past few years, a Mini edge 9000 light bar on my truck. While it has been a good light bar, I decided to upgrade to the newer LED technology. I looked at review, after review for light bars. Here were my requirements: Had to be a mini bar. Must be LED, with red and white...

Well, I ended up putting 6 95# magnets on it, and it sits about 1/4 inch off the roof of the truck.. If it flys off.. no big.. I didn't pay anything for the bar. :p

That is what concerns me.. The truck may be a 99, but it is new to me, and the last thing I want to do is put screws into it.

I would be really interested in seeing what you make.. I've thought of some design ideas already. :woot: I currently have 4 90# magnets on my star bar, and those have the "magnet codoms" that keep them from scratching your paint on them.. Those are tested @ 120+ :woot: :woot:

Then how do you mount them? I have a 99 Sierra, that doesn't have the rain gutters, and it isn't a full size bar.

So, continuation of my saga with getting this damn light on my truck and operational... I got this light from a friend, who had the permanent mount. That mount is gone, got left on his car ect. So I've been searching high and low, and I can't find a place that sells the magnet mount. The one...

Thanks for all the help. I had to take an entire side of lights, plus the alley light,plus a corner on the other side. The fuse was in there, but the fuse had been moved to the other end and I couldn't get the P/S out. The original owner ran extra strobes in the alley lights and when he did that...

There has to be an easier way to get inside these things. I've taken the lenses off, and If I take out it looks like the power supply is in back wards. It is a fricken pain to the angled strobes out. Please tell me there is an easier way. PS.. Still haven't found fuse.

So I just tried to hook up my new to me Edge 9000 mini, and I think I got the polarity wrong. Is there a fuse or circuit breaker inside this thing somewhere. When I did it I head a click. TIA.
