1993 Caprice 9C1, Just retired Restoration thread

No, I had already bought 2 new body Caprices. The first one is a White 2011 9C3 that was never issued to a department. I bought it with 20,500 miles. It has about 30,000 now after a couple of road trip and what the wife put on it. She won't stop driving it. The other is a Blue 2012 9C1 that was...

1993 Caprice 9C1, Just retired Restoration thread

I bought this 1994 Caprice in 2015 on eBay. It was an RCMP public relations car in Calgary. I shipped it across the border and restored it to what you see. It still ran super great and started on the first crank. I sold it last year back on eBay to a buyer in Poland. I kind of regret it now but...

    Negative Jerk Facebook seller

https://www.facebook.com/commerce/products/whelen-inner-edge-fst/6582576168434656?rt=2 Now, I'm not a fan of Facebook but I made a very meager profile there just to buy from Facebook Marketplace. So, a week ago I contacted this ass-clown about his Whelen Inner Edge FST and he responded. So I...

    Interior vs Exterior Lighting

If you are responding to calls on a busy highway, you want to be seen. Roof lighting is best. Safety ahead of MPG's.

Dodge Charger Police Canada DRL enable ?

It sounds like it may have been deleted in the BCM. Unfortunately, the only way to reprogram it back is to take it to a dealership or find someone with a scanner/programmer with the correct software. The scanner and software will cost around $1000. I ran into the same issue with a couple of...

    Wanted Trailblazer off-road lightbar

WOW, I haven't seen one of those in a long time. You might try doing a nationwide search on Search Tempest (Craigslist) or widen a search area on Facebook Marketplace. You never know, you might get lucky right away but it may take awhile before one comes available.

Refurbished this 80K I got on ebay

It's possible it could be from LVMPD but it would be pretty old. I know they used 480k's in all the cars in the 90's.

Wanted havis dealer inquiry/ possible purchase...

I'm not sure if it's a direct fit with the older ones but it does take up 4". I have 8 of them just sitting around. I don't know, $12 a piece, $3 for shipping each. What do you think?

    Vision Controller Help!

Honestly, anything equipment related from LVMPD is used hard and put away wet. I wouldn't buy anything from them for that reason. It gets over 115 degrees in Vegas. Imagine how hot it gets inside a vehicle and the trunk for that matter too.

These "Zombie" vehicles just look like a good way for them to get busted for illegal use of emergency equipment. How many have busted through a red light trying to be something they are not?

Indeed, that is a lot better but he has a llooooonnnngggggg way to go. He needs some friends like us to teach him the right way to install and purchase quality equipment. I think we all could show him how to make his truck stand out and sound good safely.

WOW!!!!!! How sloppy can he get? He bolted his speaker to his A/C condenser. I guess he doesn't need A/C because that's going to wear a hole in the condenser and all of the freon is going to go bye-bye. Not to mention that all of his lights are barely attached and hanging by a thread. Nice...

What were these 2 connectors for?

Sometimes a blank plug is used to complete a circuit for a number of things. It could also be the wiring system used for equipment the previous owner used. We need more info to help you better.
