So I have been on the hunt for purple/magenta/violet domes for my MX7000. I want to put it on my 1989 Chevy Suburban Hearse, and purple is the color most widely used for funeral vehicles. I have no professional need for it, I just want it. I think I will also get a set of outer green domes for those Zombie hunting excursions :dielaugh:
Does that make me a poser/whacker? Possibly. But I think it will look cool
Anyway, here is how it will look:

Like I said, the plan is for purple domes, either all 3 or purple outers with a yellow in the middle.
I don't plan on cutting a hole in the roof, but instead flattening the wiring harnesses to pass through the door jamb. Has anyone ever done this? Did it work? Another pic or two for reference:

Lastly (for now at least) I seem to be a bit short on reaching the gutters to secure it. I am thinking of just using longer bolts. Would that be SOP? I really don't want to put holes in my roof...

Feel free to let loose with opinions. I can take it :bonk: Advice and tips gladly accepted
