Klein said:I am pretty much only a fan of Vertex in running board area. Some light assemblies are alright but mostly not. I love them for where they are. In person they just blow anything else out of the water. When I had my tint installed after this current setup, I had them cut the tint around the rear light and rear side window lights.

EMSChief1 said:Still my favorite Explorer. Love the new addition to the mirrors. However, considering you said how much of a pain in the ass they were to install, I think I'll just add LINZ6's to my 07 Explorer and call it a day.

That's why I called it a Super Taurus. Though given that saying "better than a taurus" doesn't really mean squat, I suppose I should have expected that interpretation. I worked on a Taurus once. We had to remove the windshield to access the heater core. Frankly being a comfortable ride doesn't change the fact that it's a bigger heavier car (and subsequently less powerful), not a passenger truck. However definitely open to input, how does this work for you compared to let's say a Tahoe?Klein said:LOL no longer have any of that installed. A lot of it going into the 2012.
I have to disagree with the "Super Taurus" comment. May have been designed off one but it I thought it was too car-like (esp a taurus) I wouldnt have bought it. Ha ha.
