The marked Challenger is a show car for BSO. The "Ghost" challenger is a regional traffic car used primarily on I-95. BSO does not use Red/Blue LED lights they are all blue with a red/amber pod in the rear. They run with the Legend lightbars corner strobes and viper rear deck lights. Most of their newer cars are to be painted green/white. The green is very dark and it looks sharp. Many ask why green? Florida state law requires Sheriff's deputies in Florida to wear green uniforms and their cars are to be painted green/white or have green decals on a white car. The only exception is Jacksonville and Miami-Dade.

Incorrect. Last time I checked (when I was a State LEO in Florida circa 1998-2000) state law required the sheriffs to use a green stripe on their car and their badges had to be 5 point stars. Most sheriff's offices had their deputies wearing green uniforms, but where I grew up (Collier County) the uniforms were gray.

True, Collier does where gray with green pockets and epaulets.
