This is the 1984 Brush Fire truck at my station, and is an in service unit, not a reserve.

Thought everyone would like to see some old school stuff still being used on a front line truck.

In case any are wondering, yes I have it marked for the day is goes off line to get this bar! :D

I like it.

My former VFD had a ford C tanker that also had an SD bar on the roof. They sold it to make way for a new 2010 international rescue pumper.

I have pics of it, but its on my regular camera (didnt have my digital camera at the time).

I kept asking about the lightbar, but I never did get it :(

I think a bar like that looks much nicer on a vehicle of that age than a brand new bar...

The special OPs truck in my city is still running an SD. And, since it's been inside most of its life, it's pretty much NOS. Seriously, the thing is amazing. I'll try to get a picture of it sometime soon.
