Recently purchase 2023 silverado 2500HD. Installed core, wecanx liberty2, various whelen light heads, and the core control head with rotary knob. I'm curious if all the vehicle inputs shown actually are monitored. I have events programmed but they aren't working. I'm starting to wonder if the cable (c399k2) is not working on the 2023 models. Whelen has no support for the newer models however I think this is the cable people are using for the newer model chevys.

Im not positive, but Im pretty sure that cable won’t work on your 23. Whelen does list the 22, which should be the same, and that cable is a 399k9.

I put the C399K6 on our 2021+ Tahoes. That piggy backs to a Chevy module in the back so more than likely you’re using the wrong one
