I guess the most unique thing is that the letters light up green, and not red or blue. The directions on the box even suggest how to install one on the left fender facing forward and one on the right fender facing back, with a separate switch for each one.

Lights like that are neat, to me they help to show the novelty of motor vehicles in the past. These days light "speak" simply with color, illumination style etc but in the past somebody felt a need to explain.

There is an antique truck that makes an appearance at a lot of the local shows that has a STOP brake light in the rear bumper.
