Another toy I got today. Have been wanting one of these for a long time. This one is in fantastic shape. Needs a little bit of cleaning but there is no rust and only a few expected scratches. This is out of a Boston fire truck.

Are these able to be refurbished? I've got one but the wail is monotone. Didn't know if it was possible to fix.

If you can find someone who is good at electronics. Maybe check with a local tech school or something. A steady tone generally means a defective resistor. Resistors are easy to replace if you know which one. If the wail falls only it is a Capacitor, if it rises to a steady tone and holds it is also a Capacitor.

Sounded good didn't it.. I have a trouble shooting manual with a schematic for a PA200. They should be the same except some parts may be higher resistance or capacity. But someone who knows electronics can read the color codes and replace like with like.

I have the same siren. I also have a PA200, and both of them are screamers.

Is this siren safe to use with a CP25 speaker? If I remember correctly isn't a CP25 a 58watt? Not sure what this Pa20A puts out.
