Federal Model EG 6V wiring

I've recently won auction on an EG 6v siren and am looking for a wiring diagram if anybody has any info laying around.

It's pretty basic. Hot wire and ground. I use a 12v to 6v amp converter on mine. Are you hooking it up for display or on a vehicle?

Just for shelf display. I've never had a mechanical siren before. Does immediately connecting the positive sound the siren?

Hook positive to the wire and ground the mount and you get sound.
