Fire Damages Equipment and Fire Station in Mt. Zion IL

This has been on our news for the past several days. Fire was caused by the ladder truck. Last I heard the exact cause was undetermined, but the truck is where it started.

The only thing left on the one charred truck was the Q on the front bumper. Subliminal Federal advertising perhaps…

That is a terrible loss to the department and community. Very sad. It will take months if not over a year to get back to where they were.
