So, the service got a new truck and to celebrate they have an impromptu parade?
I concur. Totally useless and just a major confusion to the general public. Also a great idea to tie up so many ambulances in one area.... PLUS I'd expect a MCI bus for this type of bruhaha...twodogs603 said:Am I missing something?

I am completely against the whole idea of an impromptu parade, but I do need to explain why this didn't affect anything: There over 8,000,000 ambulance companies and services here...We couldn't get a shortage of EMS even if we wanted to. Wtbysix, I hear your point...RL1 said:'911, do you need police or fire?'
'Er, I need EMS, my wife is having trouble breathing'
'I'm sorry, sir, EMS is busy having a parade for their new truck and then all the medics are going to sit around it and do things to themselves I'm not comfortable talking about on a recorded line'
'Oh...'
'If yo would like, I can call a wrecker have them load a couch or mattress on the back to take you to the hospital'

This parade came at the end of the dedication ceremony that was held at the EMS station. There was an open house at the Corp with the politicians doing their thing and then the parade. The parade was scheduled in advance and actually had a police escort (not seen in the video)unlisted said:I concur. Totally useless and just a major confusion to the general public. Want to do a real dedication? Hold a press conference at city hall or the main EMS station.
