I think federal use to sell the cop-lite lights under their name, also the Federal Signal Motorized mirror lights I believe are someone else lights and just branded Federal Signal. Someone correct me? Also some styles of the shroud where held in place with a spring warped around the back of the light head instead of being held in place by screws.
Dan, if you still have this can you possibly send me some photos, as these are gone obviously.. Thank you!Just found this. Thought it looked cool. Headliner mount.
Recieved the light today. Very nice!
To my surprise, it has a quick disconnect feature, where the light can be removed from the mount and wiring with a simple push of a button at the top of the shaft.

Adamson was in San Jose, and also in So. Cal... And as luck would have it, I just took in a Grote 6403, so some progress!!It is a grote #6403 par 46 lighthead, but there is a sticker on the back, I assume the manufacturer of the unit, Adamson Industries, San Jose' Calif. U.S.A.
Dan
I can vouch for that back in the day. Very ungainly sitting on the seat, and roll baby roll, where is my damn red light, shhoot.. its on the floor... ......An excellent relic! I can envision it rolling around the floorboard when it wasn't in use. As I'm an east coaster, I'd add a flasher though.
Nah, thats old school... lol!!WHAT? No obligatory chase down the LA River channel?
That is the light I remember back in the day. Ours was hot wired, so it just a plug into the socket. That's it! Nice light!
