Andy,

I saw the former Hart charger in the northern suburbs of Chicago. It had the markings removed but you could clearly see where the graphics had faded the paint and the name was still visable.

Thats great! Small world for sure!

Andy....

That does not look like a 2011 Ford F-350! You had me excited there for a little bit.

Nice install though. Are they running MatTracks?

Dave,

Had to get this one wrapped up. They have a big home coming parade this weekend and the Polaris is the lead vehicle! :woot:

Yes those are MatTracks. I got to go play...ur um, test, the UTV out after my install today. Here is a video of it climbing a sand dune. It was slow going as the sand was dry. The tracks spun most of the way, but it never quit. I even stopped mid way and it took off again like it was nothing. Amazing!

Well if you ever need help "testing" something, I'll be glad to drive up there and lend a hand ;)

First thing I thought when I saw that pic:

YOU'RE RUNNING MATTRACKS?

They're crazy expensive, though the light utility ones (aka ATV ones) are less so...

The normal ones are about 4k/piece I believe.

I drive this one every day, yet have the least amount of install pics for it. Here are a few and I will try to get some better stuff as I can.

Equipment:

  • LINZ6 Inner-Edge
  • (4) TIR6 on push bumper
  • Mirror Beams
  • Talon in side window
  • Rear upper Inner-Edge TA
  • Dual Talons on rear deck
  • M4's on trunk lid
  • (4) Vertex in tail lamps
  • HAW strobes in front corners and reverse lights
  • ISP94 Power supply
  • Kustom Digital Eyewitness Camera
  • Kustom Golden Eagle Same Direction Dual Antenna Radar
  • Panasonic Toughbook 30
  • CenCom
  • Aftermarket AM/FM/CD
  • And a few other "toys"

I think I'd saw a Tube video of the GMC before, (... I think....lol) and, if it was (is), it is my favorite! I loved the flash patterns on the bar, no overkill and was really attention getting.

Great job Andy!

That is AWESOME!!! Love the treads too... Great job man...

I was just looking at a set of those today, $5000 to add to my buddy's quad, something to see though!! Do lose a little speed but not horsepower, lose just a touch of turn radius also ... but I think it might be worth the investment. Replacement rubber is $250 each if you tear one up though.

Hoping my buddy will go for it so I can try it out first before I decide ... hehehe!!

I really like your CV setup - whoever came up with that must be a genius.....

Somebody was really using their head when they thought this one up!

I'm thinking of trying out some new Whelen M2's in white on the sides of the PB to work as warning and alley lights. The light spread looks pretty decent and I think it could work. We'll see what happens there....

Just saw that most of my pics weren't showing up after I made come changes to my Flickr account. They should all be back now.

That charger made my pants get tight. That right there is my idea of what the almost perfect patrol car should look like. Only way it could get any better would to change the graphics to ghost graphics. Good job man.

Those fuse panels are awesome. Where did you source them from?

They are the Blue Sea panels. Best fuse block I have found yet, worth every penny. Most of the electrical supply companies on line carry them but I usually spend a little time on Amazon and find the best price. You can get these in 6 and 12 circuit with or without ground terminals.

Nice job Andy...but man, this is why the DNR is broke...

Local Sheriff's Office just got this delivered. I don't know what will be going into it just yet as its an admin vehicle. The "civilian" console was unexpected but shouldn't be a big issue since it won't be a patrol vehicle.

I sat in it for about 5 minutes and that is all I need to know that I NEVER want to be assigned one of these cars for patrol! The rear window is tiny! Despite what some claim, this car is small! I am 6' 2" and when I tried to sit in the rear seat the roof line hits the side of my head, at the bottom of my ear trying to get in and I have less head room in the rear seat than the 2012 Chargers. It looks nice, but it just isn't a patrol vehicle.
