That Southfield Blazer is awesome!
Came across a picture of a Spring Lake/Ferrysburg police Caprice, which I never knew they had. They had CVs as far back as I personally remember, and just recently the Ottawa County Sheriffs department took over their area and the SL/F pd was ended.View attachment 149203
What lightbar is that? I don't recognize it...
The auburn hills intrepids appear to have code 3 XS8000 Intensity bars.
I'm having a heckuva time with this new layout, haha. I'm referring to the lightbar in this pic. Auburn Hills PD vehicles.
I agree. The auburn hills intrepids appear to have code 3 XS8000 Intensity bars.
Plus white gloves and the cord on the right shoulder. Probably on the way to a LEO funeral. They have mourning bands on their badges, probably a symbol of mourning.

I saw a picture on the MI DNR facebook page a few days ago that showed a sealed beam Unity on the roof of a current body MSP Charger, but it isnt a picture of the car, just of a bunch of DNR officers. Just happen to see the Unity on it and was happy it didnt have the LED retrofit in it!
YouOUCH! Ya got me. I shall consider myself corrected. Now I have to hunt up my original scans and fix 'em. You would think someone with a college education wouldn't make a stupid error like that. Silly me.
That Vision SLR isn't period correct on a vintage collectible like that
Just wanted to know if anyone from Michigan could tell me how long the counties used the black paint on the hood/roof/trunk for the sheriff cars, was looking at the old Eaton county cars.

Gah. The ugly 91/92 9C1 Caprice, aka the SCUD. At least the 93s started looking a bit better with the better designed yet still ugly taillights and an open wheel well. Thing is.. I loved the Caprice anyway. So rooooomy. That was a full size sedan, not the silly ugly looking Taurus things that are out there now.
