Hello fellow ELB members!

This time I have another great addition to my collection to share with you! I have a Federal Signal FDNY Spec mini-Aerodynic ADX22-FDNY-FD. I found this one through another collector friend. When I first received this light, it had a broken dome, broken solaris module and the led mounting plates were bent. My friend said the light got damaged from falling debris during a fire. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of the incident. So first I ordered new mounting plates through EMTAnderson and new domes from Toyotafan. Then I completely disassembled the light. I had the frame re-Anodized (which I have never had done before, I usually powder coat) and it turned out great! I had all the screws re-plated, the plates powder coated (because Federal sent me used led mounting plates which had scratches on them), Wilsonbr90 replaced all the white led buttons with his upgraded ones (there were a couple buttons out in the original ones) and a nos set of mounting feet. I even requested a build sheet from Federal to make sure it's put back together according to spec (see pic). This was another lengthy restore, because of everyone/everything involved. It took me over a year on this one LOL! The end result was outstanding and I am very happy as always!
I knew YOU would want a video of this one so I tried my best, but when I emailed it somehow the quality went to crap and don't know why. You guys will have to live with it and be lucky I even tried LOL!! There are two white Solaris modules in this light bar which are only activated when the engine is in drive. Look closely at the video, as I power them up shortly after I power the light bar itself. I hope you enjoy and I will try to figure out why the quality went to sh*t.

Nice Eric.
I'd love to find an LED Aerodynic before they all vanish completely.

Ditto what everyone else said. Great job, as always, on your part. And thanks for the vid as I was wondering how it would work when reading your description. That is a cool setup. :)
