I think I just wet myself.....

Nope............. I just did something else in my pants........

Put the Whelen Pinoeer on the front and moved the PIAA's to the side - will most likely change them to something else in the future.

i can not believe i am saying this about a ford but that is insanely HOTT

So do Whelen 900 LED count as grille lights? The white LED next to the winch are 10 watt fog/driving lights by Rigid Industries from 4Wheel Parts. Crazy is that they even sell these in red, blue and amber for emergency vehicles.

This is my 1984 Chevrolet M1009 Military K5 Blazer that pretty much was a daily driver until the temps reached 100 everyday this summer as it as no A/C. I bought this June 2010 and have driven about 8000 miles with some 200+ mile road trips to the off road park, near Oklahoma and Arkansas boarders.

Here to resurrect this thread, seeing as at the time it was active, I did not have any grille lights installed!

Not the greatest video, but here you are:

And I generally don't have the Tomars in the windshield activated at the same time as the lightbar.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to hot glue my grill lights in

silicone caulking "a installers best friend" along with zip ties ....... lol:2thumbs:

It did the job for what I wanted to do. Didn't want the grill to obstruct the light output and didn't have another way to install the lights on the grill

My grill light set up has changed, again. Here I'm showcasing Whelen M6s surface mounted to the Frontier front bumper. I'm I'm the market for the 15degree mounts for them, which will help level them a lil bit

I did a "little" upgrading on my grill... I went from 2 Whelen 700s behind the lower grill to this:

ai64.photobucket.com_albums_h191_tritontim47_20130530_175103_zps008abb30.jpg

I moved the 700s to outside the upper grill. and put a set of 600s on the lower grill...

What Boulder is trying to say is "I have more light in my grill then most EVs have total."

^Nice setup. I really like clear strobes, they are very effective. A truck that I work on sometimes has R/C Whelen 700 strobes and they are very bright even during the day. You can't beat the 'pop' that you get from a good strobe lighthead.

id venture to say that my M6s will beat the 'pop' of the best strobe you can find

Maybe so but you can't be the look of old school. Besides M6's wouldn't fit in my grille

Don't get me wrong, your set up looks great, I was just talking shit to Acala. Lol.

I recently changed the grille lights to from split r/c Whelen LINZ6's to solid red Whelen ION's using a synched up Action Flash 75 pattern. On the dash is a Whelen ION Spitfire using the same flash pattern. No more split flash issues for all the purists out here!

I don't doubt it, but you know how to properly sync LEDs. If the truck in question had an LED 700 I'm sure it would be split failed to all hell

Much better. I think the ion on the dash would look good steady burned.

I guess the D6 counts as a grille light. Debating changing to M6

The m6s are enough on their own. Trust me. If you're gonna keep the PARs, I'd suggest the M4s. They'll be more than efficient.

I added a second Whelen ION Spitfire on the dash along with the Whelen Interweaved combination Red LINZ6 fog lights that switch to a white driving light. Unfortunately, both the Spitfires and the Interweaved Fog lights do not synch.

Set em all to steady and get a ulf44 flasher. One big synced sweet ride.

Here are my grill lights.
