Have not met this person myself, but heard a great story! He says he is a major player in the lighting and equipment world here in Dallas. I have never heard of him. Anyone heard of this company? All pictures are pulled pictures. The black Charger is from Heartland Security, and the Highland Park Tahoe was done by another company before 2010. this guy might have worked at another place and is trying to venture out on his own. He is said to be very knowledgeable on equipment, and Dallas area vendors.

I sent feelers out when I got home, and other distributors in the area haven't heard of him. I know that for a fact he isn't a dealer for whelen, John Wright in Arlington has north texas for the next ten years or so, there isn't a fed sig dist in the area, and my other shop Wistol Supply is the Code 3 amber master for the area

Soo there's something odd... some seem to think that he might be a former installer for a company in the area that isn't doing very well with customers pulling out left and right.

Looks like another STL dealer trying to hang with the big boys.....fail.

BTW, he used http://www.homestead.com/ to make the Free website.

How about the incorrectly spelled "Saftey" instead of the correct "Safety" in the website heading? Big red flag for any business to make that kind of error.

tease.

Heard a story about the conversation, like to hear it here it goes...

Tyson starts talking to my friend at Starbuks. My friend is working on a web page, Tyson starts asking him about making a web page. tyson then jumps in how he is a major player in the lighting and equipment scene in the Dallas area. (my friend is a DPD volly, and knows a little about lights, t least who some of the vendors are) tyson mentioned all the real vendor's. tyson also claimed to have done the installs for Heartland Security (unknown), as well as Highland Park PD, which Cory and I know is false. Tyson also said he has 3 demo cars, fully equipped, and makrd DEMO yet he gets stopped by DPD at least twice a week and questioned about the lights, only to be let go with no ticket because all his lights are blue (illegal), with my friend, Cory Y and myself knowing DPD officer's could care less, this story is highly doubtful).

The Gaston Ave address does not come back as listed on the county tax rolls, nor is there a physical property at 2772 Gaston Ave. It might be a part of a somewhat nice Apartment complex at 2752 Gaston Ave. Some of the apts overlook DFD Station 3, one of the busyer stations. Tyson said he is looking at leasing a store in Deep Ellum, (where prices are hella high) where gaston Ave is at, even though he knows that Wistol Supply, and Earl Ownes are vendors for most lights, and that my shop, Earl Ownes, and Wistol do installs. He made no mention to my friend about being DFD, but became very interstead when my friend finally told tyson about DPD VIP.

I agree with Cory Y, Tyson might have worked for one of the bigger shops, possibly the one that is having issues and cannot keep staff. that might be why he gives claim to Heartland Security and Highland Park PD.

The big light vendors are already repped in our area. STL has their big office 10 miles up the highway from Deep Ellum. Most people who purchase lighting and equipment already know where to go. But there are always some who dont.

Stendec, I am sorry us Dallas locals jumped into your AquaTeen Hummer farce, we resepct your position as Supreme Leader of ATHF. As the OP, I respectfully turn over this case, and all related files over to you and your commision! :p

Which shop is having staff issues, and why?

PM sent, not gonna air dirty under things here due to some members having a loose association with the place in question.

Well the thing is not that the installers in the area don't want competition, its that he's clearly claimed his shop has done vehicles he hasn't. And the story is kinda odd and so is his email address if youj ask me!

The Web Site has been changed... and the company namespelling is corrected, but he is still posting pictures of the same vehicles

and..

Our company was founded in 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Our companies owner decided that there should be a company out there, who cared more about getting the things our public sector employess need, rather then how fat his wallet gets. If you go to our store you can see that we have dropped our prices below what you normally can find them at. Here at NTPS we assure you that you will have a smooth shopping exp, and if needed a great install for you vehicle.

So stop by and see what a true Texas Company can do your needs today!

Our Founder, Tyson Shuler
Our Founder Tyson Shuler, Has spent his lifetime in some sort of military or law enforcement. He claims his greatest achivement so far is this company. Tyson is 25 years old and lives in Dallas, Tx. Born and Raised out of state always claims, that he missed it here and got back to Texas as fast as he could. Tyson has opened two other companies. North Texas Diesel, and South Texas Roadside.

After spending four years in the military, working with law enforcement, and as a Personal Protection Officer and Armed Security officer, he feels its time to give something back.........

well I just did a little recon work... 2772 Gaston is an apartment building. I cruised the parking lot and found no evidence of any vehicles with any kind of equipment other than a crown vic granny mobile with a rascal rack.

thats more like it.

More news.... I have contacted his last known employer heartland security (friend of mine still works there) asked him about mr shuler. Friends words were "he's a fucking liar." He did not do any of their installs.

Checked his name of the TXDPS private security website and he never had his Personal Protection licence. And his security guard commission is listed as denied.

Friend told me mr shuler bought an ar15 and walked around his post with the rifle slung across his chest.

cough WHACKO cough

The word "safety" is still spelled wrong in the first line of his opening comments on his home page. He corrected the same word in the heading, after I posted that it was spelled incorrectly, so he must be lurking here and reading these posts. Let's see how long it takes him to correct the other one.

Or come on here and cry foul at this whole thread..

It looks like he is wearing a police uniform in the bio section. Although it might be his "armed security" uniform judging by the {empty} holster on his hip

its a se urity uniform

however...

I hate sites that steal images, everything on my web page is my work and images are mine or used with permission from the respected owners. I had images stolen once by a banned original board ELB member from Arkansas that always cussed people out when he was shown to be incorrect. I am sure older members here will know exactly who I am talking about, he was sued by FedSig for trademark infractions on Viper.

The Highland Park Tahoe looks like it has a DPS Freedom on it (4 TDs to the front), so that means it was sold and uplifted by Holiday Chevrolet. If that is where it came from, then I need to send and email to my friends at Holiday as they are a great dealership and they need to know when someone is stealing their work.

He has all kinds of neat things for Off Duty Security. What does an off duty security gaurd need? Does he sell pizza? TV's? Baby shoes? Cat food? Once I am off work in my private sector job, those are some of the things I am looking for.

Well I don't know where his wharehouse is... the address listed is an apartment complex

I'm sure he used his home address for a mailing address at first. Once he gets established the address will probably move to a commercial location. The city I live in goes nuts if they find you are using your home address for commercial purposes.

So they carry cell phones? Cause thats all they need on duty or off!

Gotta love the neck tattoo creeping out of his collar......real professional! Looks like he is up in beautiful Farmersville, TX in that shot. Don;t recognize the badge of the edge of the patch so it must be security.

Someone needs to get the jump in this tool, quick. IDK how Texas LE takes to creeps like this, but if it hasn't been done already, they need to keep an eye out for him.

Oh worry not, he is on radar!

dpd4703. he is now sleeved, or might be in the photo, also bad teeth and brown finger nails. All the makings of a groveite.

Don't knock em too much... they are pretty decent. I have a couple of friends who work there. The company is pretty squared away. There are some squirrels though....
