That was the price I saw on the price list, but I will double check on monday to make sure I didn't put the wrong one. Either way I setup our weekly deal on 2/22-2/28 to have them at 30% off with coupon code BEACONS

$152?!?! Aerodynics & Twinsonics can be had cheaper than that every day. It's a nice little light, but not $152 nice.

That's a pretty standard list price for a new beacon. They are selling these new at list price, plus these are the last ones to ever be offered new. With the 30% off deal these are darn near $100. Single sealed beam rotators are rare too. I have sold these and the similar Code 3 550 beacon for over $100 used.

I don't think $106 is bad at all for the last batch of a somewhat unusual halogen rotator. I think it's great Unity made the effort to offer these to collectors instead of scrapping the or writing them off.

Here's the thing about getting old... 1- You constantly remember prices as they used to be. 2- You forget how much you paid for something previously. I believe, last year I bought an RV15 at Unity's factory for something between $75-$100. That is, if memory serves me correctly.

I hear that. My problem is I get used to the steals I find very occasionally, and expect those prices on everything. I have to give myself a reality check by browsing new items and eBay now and then. Let's face it, we are a low price demanding bunch here. I'm guilty too. I give Unity credit for both selling these at all and for not marking them up as collectables.

I double checked the price and $152.53 is correct. Checked an older price sheet from 2007 and price was listed as $173.33 then. The weekly deal drops it down $106.77 which is the best price I can find that we offered. Windycity I believe I found the order you are referring to. If you are curious I can PM you the price that is listed on the order.

I do not know when the lights were manufactured. Based on their lot numbers (manufacturing tracking number) they were not all built at the same time. There is a sticker on the boxes that has 2008 date on them, but it is not a reference to when they were built, but the sticker being there makes me believe 2008 or later. A couple years ago we switched computer systems. The lot numbers are from the old system and I can't track them.
