Rob, Sireno made these late 60s-70s. Spring loaded Retaining ring held the bulbs in. Spot bulbs used, so narrow beam projection. Nice find!
What is that round device on the roof with the exposed electrical connections? Looks like the light cable goes down through the roof as it normally should.
Looks like a (Julian) McDermott flasher. Bizarre mounting for sure.
@2 Whelen 800, or a 2700 dual system, and a Northern Blitzer strobe.I do believe those are Whelen strobes; not sure of the model number. Speaking of Garden City NY and strobes, look at the three lights that their FD chief's car had during the same era (1971 Mercury Monterey station wagon).
