This has been discussed many times. Overall consensus is stay away from them.

Some
Trashy
Lights

ALTHOUGH i do have one thing from STL and will say its decent lighting, its one on their visor bars in all blue that i got from a friend of mine on a local vfd.

You can get used solid quality from a top three brand from here or elsewhere for the same or less money.

Best of Luck,
Seth

I would buy used name brand big company OR a cheaper name brand company (SOS, Star, Techniq etc) or if you are dead set on saving the few bucks with imports Strobes n' more has their own line that they stand behind.

STL has a few major problems IMHO; Quality control, build quality, failure rate, lack of support and being priced way higher than the previous problems would dictate. Again, personal opinion.

If you want economy pricing, strobesnmore offers their own inhouse brand. Honestly, at least in my opinion, the triple threat dash lights cannot be beat. They also have the dual threat now that is a bit smaller, but why not pay just a touch more for the three headed version. The triple threat moves traffic to the front by itself. Also, if you're in the market for an ILB, their inhouse ILB uses the same heads/optics, so it will obviously move people. Several hundreds cheaper than big 3 prices. Their grill, HAWs, and others are also quite good, and again, cheaper than big names

I'm still a big proponent of Feniex. Still quite cheaper than Whelen, Fed Sid, and other big named players. Several guys on my vollie dept and guys on county sheriff run Feniex. All problems that came up were quickly handled by Feniex and the distributors they went to, free of charge.

Also, you could just hunt on here for big 3 company lights and get them at hella good prices.
