Snagged this off the bay for a great price. Came with the original 295 amp and switch combo and instructions for that (dated 1976).

The beacon is nearly flawless and just needs minor cleanup and polish. It has all of the labels in good condition and original 100 watt speaker still installed.

I would love to see literature on it.

That's the first early WS295 siren I've seen in a large cabinet with a light control panel.

Thanks again for the compliments.

Anyone have photos of one in use or any Whelen literature on the beacon?
Just the previously posted stuff...

Is it something Whelen offered? The seller was unsure and I haven't seen something like that before.

I had a couple of those switch/amp setups some years back. I sold them here on ELB.

They were nice because you could service the amp or the switches simply by pulling them forward from the box.

There should be 2 nipple clips on the back that hold the 2 units in place.
