This antique store had an old Louisville Ford Fire Truck parked out front with the store name on the side and THIS on the roof of the truck. Well, Jeff Foxworthy once said "you might be a redneck if you make offers on cars that aren't for sale". I took that one step further and made an offer on a light bar that probably wasn't for sale. Oh boy, was I wrong! Imagine the look on her face when she comes outside to see me on the roof of that truck with a ratchet wrench and my boy holding a box-end to the headliner bolts as I was unbolting it! My boy was still laughing as we were loading it into the trunk of her Focus. Obviously, the rear seat was a split fold-down... 2 bulbs later and she's a low-hour honey!

If I didn't have the ratchet in my hand I would have snapped a photo. It wasn't a disgusted look...more of a YGBFKM look. My youngest has been on a few lightbar picking adventures before so he knew the routine. She's aware of some of my road trips as well...she just wasn't aware HER trip was going to turn into one of those! ALWAYS keep your eyes open folks!
I spotted a pretty crappy Dietz 7-05 beacon on an old snow plow truck from the highway but when I stopped, no-one answered the door at the farmhouse. I'll try again next time I'm by that way...
