The takedowns are in fact the same standard 3x4 (Micro-MaxBeam) light used as alley lights in the Edge 9000 series. Keep in mind that you will also want to acquire some little springs to go around the takedown light mounting screws. The springs will suspend the lights away from the housing...

Up for grabs today is a NYPD 24RMVF AeroTwin Runs FLAWLESSLY and super quiet. The front flashers are set to steady for some reason... so you would want to wire them the flasher that flashes the rear lamps. NO Speaker section in included. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Lenses...

Well, unless I am wrong... you are missing something!  Is it a "Serial Controlled" bar?  (Doubt it)  ...  pics of the cable and connector would be helpful.  And if possible, the I/O board as well.

Here is a little jewel from my collection that I thought I would share for your enjoyment. It is a Factory Built Edge 9408 40" lightbar. It has 8 strobes and a lighted sign. This came off a "DARE" Corvette in North Carolina. My guess is that it was a donation from Whelen as it has the amber...

To make the Chester bar work correctly, you are going to need to find a CSP switch that was used. The connector you mention sounds correct, but you need the other side. Or IF the wires are still colored (Not Faded), you can bypass the connector, but you will still need the aforementioned switch...

Filters are still available Part# RB6CF* (Replace * with A,B,R,G for Color)

I am still waiting on them to arrive.  I don't think they will fit a 33/77 though.  The base flange would need to be modified.  ( I Think so anyway based on the pics I have seen)

That IS the plan sir!  Putting them into a pair of 994s, and using 4 ea. PAR46SLCs for the cans. Consider using the ULF44 flasher.  They have 2 modes, 1 being Cruise, and the 2nd for Warning.

My workbench in "The Lab" already has a Crossbar LED conversion Project in the works.  I am still looking for some components to complete her.  Suffice to say, this thread is interesting for sure!  I can't wait to see how others build theirs!
