Not sure you will find some new, but you might wanna try LSH Lights, they carry a lot of ShoMe stuff and might have a set left behind on a shelf...

Otherwise ebay is your friend...

You can also use ERM's programmable flasher and do whatever flash pattern and rate you want. You can do 60 fpm or 2 fpm. You decide with the DPIF01. Hmmm. :undecided:

Tony, I thought of you guys first but it's just not in the budget this close to the holidays. Although I've been looking for an excuse to get one so maybe in January I'll decide that I want more flash patterns!

The Able2 lights were called No-Sho's and I have seen them in recent (last few years) Galls catalogs. I THINK they made them in LED too but Im not sure.

Yeah all they do is take whatever $20 set of Driving lights is available, replace bulbs with colored ones and use a simple wig wag flasher.

You could make a set pretty cheap with a trip to the auto parts store.

I think I'm better off heading to the auto parts store or looking around on here, $100 for some halogen wig-wags is a bit steep, especially for the quality those appear to be. Plus I'm looking for behind the grille if at all possible.

Love the look of this! If you could find them, Magnabeams in the back windows would also kick butt.....

Now you need to change your throw light to a Halogen Fireball!

Its not the color of the LED, its the color of the lense.

And FALSE! I have a bag of LEDs from Radioshack (thats right, actual LEDs from a cell phone store!) That are all colored.

Woah, hold up a minute. How long ago did you go to Radioshack and get project stuff. These days there's one wall dedicated to the iPhone, one wall for the iPad, and one wall dedicate to Android products. The shelving in the middle is full of cases and other phone accessories...

Nobody said you weren't allowed to mash a pair of Whelen 700's in there.

Seriously, do that. Do it. Your radiator is fine, at least you have a grille... see 1992 Crown Victoria for the alternative.

It's there if you know where to look for it. They've got drawers full of diodes, transistors, capacitors, all that stuff. Maybe even a little strobe tube or two.

I like the FS Director series lights for a flasher setup in the back window, 1 or 2 firebeams along with them would be quite effective.

Man 2 firebeams with the flash mirrors on the back deck would look good

Saw a Walton County Florida Sheriff's car one time when I was younger with 2 Firebeams in R/B and B/R with flash mirrors on

the rear deck. Beautiful..... Had a soft spot for those lights ever since :drooling:

IIRC, those Able 2 No-Shows used metal screen mesh glued to the rear of a clear lens in front of a colored bulb.

Ok, so quick progress update. Rick has provided me with 2 amber half filters for the firebeam and tcfd126 has said he's shipping a second FB to me but I haven't received it as of yet. Once that comes in, I think I'll put both of those on the back deck. One with the red facing out and amber towards the mirror, and the other the opposite way.

As soon as I do more than plug some stuff into cigarette lighter plugs I'll provide more photos.

Also, anyone know where I can find a ignition switched 12v source, I need one under the hood and another in the trunk ideally but if necessary I can run a relay switched source to the trunk... I accidentially wired it so that right now my PCC8R is dependent on my taillights being on. Whoops!

Finally got around to taking some photos. Here's how she sits currently. The only thing not in view is the two Whelen SA-314 speakers behind the grill.

Video doesn't come out too good on my camera, but I'll give it a shot. Strobes are hell on cameras but I think we all know by now what Whelen's 3x flash looks like.

Shut up! :D Being the LX model my mounting locations were VERY limited and I like the small size and remote capability of the PCC8R.

The rear setup is awesome.

Think so.... Hard to tell for sure, bu they do appear to be half-domes, don't they ?

We'll have to wait for the vid ;)

Beautiful overall. Might wanna turn one of the red strobes on the dash clear so it doesn't look like you've just got a single red strobe without any delay between flashes (dare I call it... potential split fail? :haha: )

Glorious. Never let an LED get near this thing.

a clear lens on the front DashKing would be great.

If i could set up the rear, i would do Red lenses on each side on the front, and amber on each side as the secondary.

EDIT* now that i look at this on the computer and not on TapAtalk, theyre set-up: A/R and R/A. I like them like that too. Cant wait to see a video

You're correct, they are A/R and R/A. No clear to the rear for me!

I'll try to snag a video of the rear today, no promises though. I also now need to find a clear lens for the dashking. Anyone got one?
